The Rodrigues family traveled all the way from Southern Texas — and while their hometown is beautiful in its own right, it’s a very flat part of the state. We chose a stunning spot in Lafayette, CA, tucked in the East Bay, where you get sweeping views and soft light just before sundown. It was the perfect setting for their sweet, connected family moments — and their outfit choices could not have been more on point. This sweet session featuring baby Ben and his parents took place right here in Martinez, CA, just minutes from Walnut Creek. I couldn’t get over their outfit choices — soft neutrals, textures, and layers that really pop against the warm fall landscape. And little Ben? Total heartthrob. His suspenders and tiny loafers were perfection!

Meet Charley – Big Baby, Bigger Cuteness!
Say hello to Charley! This sweet little guy came into the studio with the most perfect chubby cheeks and delicious baby rolls that every newborn photographer dreams of. At just a few days old, Charley was already making a big impression — literally and figuratively!

​Charley was on the bigger side for a newborn, and that just made him even more squishable. His arms, legs, and those adorable cheeks gave us so many options for poses that showed off every bit of that newborn goodness. Whether tucked into a cozy wooden box or resting peacefully on soft blue blankets, Charley brought all the charm and calm.
Big babies like Charley are often really settled during sessions — they sleep deeply, curl up beautifully, and have the cutest chunk that photographs like a dream. And let’s not forget those little back rolls and wrist creases that parents always love looking back on!
For this session, we kept the setup simple and classic, with soft textures, neutral tones, and a touch of baby blue. The result? Timeless images that highlight Charley’s features and sweet presence without any distractions. He even rocked a tiny knit bonnet that added just the right finishing touch.

​If you’re expecting a little one (big or small!), it’s never too early to reach out and reserve your spot. Newborn sessions are best done within the first two weeks, when babies are sleepiest and snuggliest. And just like Charley, your baby’s little rolls and features deserve to be captured forever.

This gorgeous family planned the perfect summer gathering—renting an Airbnb in Lafayette, California for a relaxing getaway with parents, grandparents, and kids all under one roof. What better way to celebrate than with a professional family photo session right on the property?

Their Airbnb provided a stunning backdrop, with a tiled pool, lush greenery, and beautiful golden-hour light that made the whole evening feel like a scene from a summer dream. We captured the love and connection between generations—from playful moments with the little ones to sweet group shots with grandparents, siblings, and cousins. I think this family will be happy with the 152 images in their gallery, here are some of my favorites. Golden Hour Maternity Session in the East Bay  | Baby Boy on the Way
This stunning sunset session was such a sweet celebration of the upcoming arrival of a baby boy! Captured in the East Bay Area, this hour-long maternity session took place during golden hour—the soft, glowy light just before sunset that creates the most dreamy and flattering images.
We scheduled this session right around 34–36 weeks of pregnancy, which is the ideal window for maternity photos. During this time, the bump is beautifully rounded, and most expecting mamas still feel comfortable enough to pose and walk short distances. Booking in advance ensures we can lock in your spot and plan for the best light and location.
This mama wore one of my favorite red maternity gowns from my client wardrobe. All maternity clients have access to my curated collection of dresses that flatter a variety of shapes and sizes, and I also provide a helpful wardrobe guide if you prefer to shop or bring your own. I’m always happy to help with styling—it makes such a difference in how you feel during the shoot!
