Thatiana's 10th Birthday

This was my first ever Event.  At this point, I have only been in business for a few months, but have been taking pictures for about 1 and a half years. I was always nervous about taking pictures at an event, because unlike a photoshoot, you cant "re-do"  the pictures.  If  you miss a moment, it's gone-never coming back. So Thatiana's Mom had a great idea of throwing her 10 year old daughter a "Celebrity" birthday, and asked me to photograph the party (basically, be the paparazzi).  I surprisingly was not nervous, and had a wonderful time.  This birthday was a perfect intro for me into "Event Photography", and now I cant' wait to do more.  Dare I say- Its like being paid to have a good time.
